Spice up your cauliflower with this great side dish recipe.
I served this on the side of pork steaks, and it reminded me of mac n’ cheese. I’ll definitely make it again when I’m craving mac n’ cheese!
- 1 bag frozen cauliflower
- 1/4 cup chives
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 ounces heavy cream
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup butter
- crumbled cooked bacon
Run cool water over frozen cauliflower and strain. Butter caserole dish. Place cauliflower in the dish. Season with salt and pepper. Layer chives, bacon, sliced pats of butter, and cheese. Pour cream over and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
