From where I sit, you can never have enough side dish recipes in your pocket. Side dishes definitely help to spice up a meal, change things up and provide variety. Meal planning can become pretty monotonous and boring and I find that new side dishes can really help to liven things up!

This side dish really does the trick! We love mushrooms around here, but these are super delicious. Full of fat and flavor!

Ingredients
  1. 2 tablespoons butter
  2. 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  3. 1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  4. 1 clove garlic, minced
  5. 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
  6. 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
Instructions
  1. Melt butter with oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in balsamic vinegar, garlic, oregano, and mushrooms. Saute for 20 to 30 minutes, or until tender.
